Terry family correspondence, 1836-1846.

Primarily family correspondence among members of the Terry family of Plymouth and Hartford, Connecticut, and Cleveland, Ohio. Charles A. Terry, a physician in Cleveland, was born in Hartford. He received letters from his Uncle J. Wadsworth, his wife Julia, his daughter Ellen, and from his mother Catherine Terry. Julia Terry received letters from her husband Charles, from Aunt F. Wadsworth, and her sister Jane. Ellen, sister to Charles, received a letter from her mother Catherine. In addition, there are three letters written by Eli Terry, one to a customer who wants to purchase a clock, 1838, and two his daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Simeon Gunn, in which he gave them advice on the farm they owned in Clinton, Connecticut.
